Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), Wrexham
The Supply Service are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Wrexham based school.
Successful applicants will hold creative and exciting learning techniques, strong classroom management skills and be able to embrace all aspects of the school ethos in order to develop pupils. Capable of working both 1:1 and Classroom Support
Previous experience working with SEMH, EBD and behavioral needs.
Working hours: Monday to Friday
08.45am - 15.30pm
The role will involve supporting and implementing agreed work programmes with both individual and groups of Traveller learners. Developing learning skills and enabling them to access the curriculum either within the classroom our outside main teaching areas.
As a HLTA you'll need to have:
- Level 4 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent
- Skills in organising pre-planned work
- Empathy and Patience
- Maintain discipline
- Build rapport with pupils & staff

Successful applicants are required to attend an online interview, complete Safeguarding training & must undertake a full enhanced DBS check and be EWC registered.
